Camper water tank heat shield install

Just a quick run down of the goings-on installing a basic heat shield between the exhaust and the plastic water tanks under the van.

Watch in 1.25 or 1.5 speed to prevent terminal boredom.

Knot grafting into the shower base

One of the layers in the ply shower base had a wood filler cavity where a knot once existed. Ply is full of these filled cavities (or cheap stuff is unfilled) if you go look at a manufacturing video. I decided to graft in an actual knot rather than use a sawdust-glue filler. I think it turned out pretty nicely.

Sprinter Camper rough-in water works and misc

Below is a short video of some of the whackiness going on tackling new things like fresh and waste water. Progress is super slow as there's always other things going on. (Sorry it's the weekend and the hum of mowers in the background is relentless...watch in high speed 'cus I meander like an old man.)

Misc unsorted pics afterwards. The van floor is regular Australian wax impregnated high compression tongue and groove chipboard for house flooring. It will get covered by vinyl print and carpet like the previous van. Three 3600x800 sheets did the whole floor with virtually no waste when installed as cross-cut pieces. The AEG birthday jigsaw was awesome.
